Guruvayur: In a heartfelt gesture of faith and devotion, Shobhana Ramakrishnan, hailing from Ernakulam Angamali, sought divine intervention at the revered Guruvayoor Municipality for the reinstatement of Rahul Gandhi as Member of Parliament. Fueled by the affection of her grandson and the deep-seated reverence for Lord Guruvayoorappan, she embarked on a spiritual journey at the elephant sanctuary of Guruvayoor Devaswom.
Accompanied by prominent local leaders including KP Udayan, the Opposition Leader of Guruvayoor Municipality, Councilor CS Suraj, and OKR Manikandan, President of Guruvayur Mandalam Congress Committee, Shobhana Ramakrishnan offered a substantial donation of Rs. 20,000 under the banner “Rahul Gandhi MP Wayanad.”
The ceremonial donation, made in the presence of these esteemed figures, was a symbolic plea to lift the disqualification looming over Rahul Gandhi’s parliamentary tenure.
