Guruvayoor: Established in 1964, Sree Krishna College has progressed for six decades through the ambitious contributions of eminent teachers, educational thinkers, researchers and students and has entered its 60th year. On July 17 and 18, Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur will begin its 60th year of Foudation Day celebrations.
Srikrishna College stands as a college of excellence with the best learning and research standards and a sense of democracy in this time when the higher education sector in Kerala is going through many creative changes. The best academic seminars, artistic cultural programs and science fairs are planned as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations. These days the college is witnessing a great gathering of former teachers, non-teachers and students who have served in the college. Ex-teachers of Sri Krishna College who have crossed 80 years of age and eminent alumni who have made a mark in different fields of society are felicitated.
There will be a release of the cover of the souvenir and presentation of the theme song, which will share the history, growth and experiences of Sri Krishna College. Musical ensembles and various arts and cultural programs are also organized by Srikrishna college’s alumni musical talents.
