Demand for Queue Complex in Guruvayur is strong: Organizations have submitted a petition to the Chief Minister through MLA.

The demand to build Queue complex for the devotees coming to Guruvayur is getting stronger.

 

Devotees who come to Guruvayur have to stand in queue for hours to see Sri Guruvayurappan.  It is a common sight on peak days for devotees to fill up the current queue shed and a long line of devotees to the South Nada, rain or shine along the road to the West Nada.  Last day, the petition was submitted to Guruvayur Devaswom Chairman Dr. VK Vijayan by the leadership of various organizations in Guruvayur.

 

President TN Murali for Guruvayur Merchants Association, Lodge Onernn Association President GK Prakashan, Chamber of Commerce President Muhammad Yasin that the Governing Body of Guruvayur Devaswom should take an urgent decision to construct a queue complex with all facilities including clock room, toilet, offering cooling, snack stalls Nt  CD Johnson, Brothers Club President Balan Warnath, Advocate Ravi Chankath for Pathrikam Guruvayur, KK Govindadas for Drishya Guruvayur, P Gopalakashnan Nair for Rotary Club of Guruvayur Heritage and SNDP Guruvayur Union President Premanandan PS have said in the joint petition.
