Guruvayoor: The month of Ramayana has arrived with the devotional color of self-purity. Under the auspices of Guruvayoor Devaswom, in collaboration with Devaswom Religious Library and Mural Study Centre, the month of Ramayana is being welcomed this time too.
Devaswom Chairman Dr. VK Vijayan will inaugurate the Ramayana month celebrations at the Devaswom Bookstore on Tuesday, July 16 on the day one of Ramayana month.
Members of the Devaswom Governing Body will be present on the occasion. Inauguration of the spiritual book festival will also be held on the occasion.
This year, the Devaswom has set up a special counter for devotees to buy special books including Adhyatmaramayanam and Panchangam and an exhibition of Ramayana books including rare palm leaf books. The exhibition is in front of Sree Guruvayoorappan Auditorium. As part of the Ramayana month celebration, there will also be a Ramayana national seminar and mural exhibition
