Guruvayoor: The complaint that the 2 gram gold locket with Lord’s seal bought by Karuvonthitti Puthanveetil Mohandas (a snake charmer) from Guruvayoor Devaswom was fake was found to be baseless.
In a press conference called by Guruvayoor Devaswom, Mohandas was ready to accept the value of the locket. Mohandas apologized for the defamation caused to Guruvayur Devaswom.
Guruvayur Devaswom Chairman Dr VK Vijayan said that the news that came out in some social media, media and channels without knowing the state of affairs for the past few days is regrettable and it is condemnable that such a situation has been created to defame the Guruvayur Devaswam. He said that this made the devotees very worried.
