Guruvayoor: The Guruvayoor Devaswom Management Committee has decided to avoid the VIP/special darshan control which was to be implemented on Udayastamana Puja days starting July 1, as the current rush of devotees at the Guruvayoor temple is under control on working days.
At the same time, visit restrictions on public holidays will continue. The temple will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on the public holidays of July 13 to 16 to accommodate more devotees. There will be regular darshan control on the said days.
Chairman Dr. V. K. Vijayan presided over the meeting of Devaswom Bharana Samiti. Brahmashree PC Dinesan Namboothiripad, VG Ravindran, KP Viswanathan and Administrator KP Vinayan were present.
