Nattika: Nattika Govt. Fisheries Higher Secondary School Reading Day was inaugurated by poet and speaker Rudran Variyath.
He talked about PN Panicker who devoted his life to reading and his fields of activity, lack of reading habits among children today and the importance of reading in shaping a person’s character. He dedicated three collections of poems composed by him to the school.
PTA President Shri CS Mani presided the event. Class 10 student Abhinava KA delivered the keynote address. Swapna KD introduced story writer N Mohanan’s story ‘Orikal’. Lakshmi KV presented the poem Kaka of Vailopilly.
Principal teacher PH Sharifa welcomed the teacher and Staff Secretary Santhosh Kumar gave vote of thanks. Fisheries Higher Secondary School.
