Grrr… Review: An enjoyable clean entertainer for the family audience

Director Jai K., previous film: Ezra who gave a unique look in the horror thriller. The protagonists are Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramood. The main faces of the films tell the stories of the green men in the world of real life who put the brakes on the career that started as a chocolate hero and comedy star. If the three decide to come together, it is not wrong to think that there is a possibility that a huge project signed by experiment and observation is not possible. However, they have joined the mainstream Malayalam cinema with a tight waist and head for a comedy entertainer that has not been a staple for some time.

Entertaining comedy is not an easy thing to do at a time when slapstick is out of fashion, a joke about slipping in a dunghill, a joke where no one else in the country laughs, and slapstick is out of fashion. A childish tinge in the name, Grrr… from that point of view, it’s a test. With their careers going through hairpin turns, it is hoped that the two heroes agreeing to board this boat will not miss something.

After a long time, all the characters in this movie have caste tail in their names, so the screenwriter has no intention of leaving both the communities, be it forward or backward communities. Even if the caste tail starts to feel unpleasant to those who see and hear it, it can be called a one-time settlement for those who consider it an ornament. Anticipate the heavy-handedness of his girlfriend’s high-caste father, who harbors a lot of pride behind Regimon Nadar (Kunchako Boban), who leaps into the zoo’s lion cage in desperation.

Suraj Venjaramoodu’s character Haridas is responsible for rescuing Regimon when he jumps. A lion in an open cage and the story of two men caught in a vicious circle in front of it, their personal lives and the officials caught in the middle increase the entertainment and engagement value of the film.

Regimon’s love, his family, Haridas’s flashbacks, his married life, the officers who struggle to get out of the tug-of-war between man and animal without harm to both sides, and the media representatives who bring the crisis in the lion’s den to the public as a silent spectacle, add to the thrill factor of the film.

After a long time, the audience will get the joy of seeing Chakochan and Suraj in a film where Mohana did not make any promises. Even flashy characters have their place in the script. It may seem simple, but in this new generation era, it is not an easy task to make a movie in a format that is enjoyable for both children and adults.

Years ago when vacation films were a trend in Malayalam, when a film like this is released after the opening of schools, the child audience misses it. The audience is waiting for a complete family film with the arrival of Garrr.
