Guruvayur: Today, the day of Akshaya Tritiya, celebrations were held at the Guruvayur temple with the traditional Kazhcha Sheeveli. Devotees thronged the temple premises to participate in the festivities.
The sacred offering, Prasada Oot, was warmly received by the devotees, which enhanced the spiritual atmosphere of the temple. There was a significant surge in the footpath to the temple, especially between 4am and 5am in the morning, when the darshan continued, allowing devotees access through the way near Kodimaram.
In view of the rush, the temple closing time was extended and the nada was closed at 2.50 pm. The management assured that safety protocols are strictly followed to protect the health of the devotees. The spirit of devotion remained and Akshayatritiya marked an unforgettable day of devotion and celebration at the Guruvayur temple.
