Guruvayur: Guruvayur Municipality has started Tailoring Unit under “One Enterprise in One Ward One Job in One House” scheme. Municipal Chairman M.Krishnadas inaugurated the ‘Sauhridam’ tailoring unit which was started in Ward 8 Pala Bazaar as part of the One Lakh Enterprises per Year project under the auspices of the Guruvayur Municipality, which is a public planning project.
Municipality Vice Chairperson Anishma Shanoj presided. Ward Councilor Rahitha Prasad lead the welcome speech. Welfare Standing Committee Chairperson Shailaja Sudhan, Public Works Standing Chairperson Bindu Ajitkumar Councilors Subita Sudhir, Ajitha Dinesan Kerala Bank Manager Sheeba Industry Officer Binny VC spoke and the tailoring unit has been started by allocating 75 percent subsidy of the project amount.
