Both Doordarshan and Sony TV have announced special programming to mark the occasion, promising viewers an immersive experience into the epic saga of Lord Rama.
Doordarshan’s Shri Ram Janmotsav program is set to kick off the festivities at 3 am with a lineup that includes Mangal Aarti, Abhishek, and Rama’s makeup. The highlight of the morning will be a grand Ram Navami program at 8 am, followed by a live telecast from the revered Ram Mandir in Ayodhya at 11 am. Viewers can also indulge in the timeless classic, Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana, airing from 6 pm onwards.
Meanwhile, Sony TV will captivate audiences with a one-hour special episode of Shrimad Ramayan titled “अक हैंट का” airing on the evening of 17th April from 9 PM to 10 PM. This episode promises to illuminate the unbreakable bond between Lord Rama and his steadfast devotee, Hanuman. Actor Sujay Reyu, who portrays the role of Lord Rama, shared insights into the episode, highlighting Hanuman’s unwavering commitment to serving his beloved Lord.
“In this special episode,” Sujay Reyu revealed, “Lord Rama entrusts Hanuman with the crucial task of bringing proof of Mother Sita’s presence in Lanka. Hanuman’s dedication not only underscores his loyalty but also showcases the power of faith and determination to overcome adversity.”
